Over the weekend I went to my first Manga Bookstore in New York City. For someone that has never read Manga of any sort it was such a fun and cool experience. I can only imagine what it would be like for those who love reading Manga.
What I loved about this bookstore is that there are 3 levels to this store.
The main floor carries typical books in English that you may find in other bookstores.
On the second floor there is a large selection of Japanese and English comics and Manga as well as a large selection of cards and anime character figurines.
The second floor also has a little café with various coffee drinks, bubble tea, pastries, bagged snacks and numerous flavors of Onigiri.
The basement was probably my favorite because they had a TON of different Japanese brand pens as well as a very large selection of stationary, origami and school supplies.
