Wow. What an unbelievably disturbing book! This is the second book by Gillian Flynn that I’ve read, Gone Girl being the first. Gillian Flynn continues to write where you think you know who the characters are but you really don’t. I couldn’t exactly relate to any characters, which I typically do enjoy about reading, but there was something dark and twisted with many characters that they had me hooked into trying to figure out more about them. This book is a little slow at first, but I liked the plot in how the suspense was building up. I liked how there wasn’t just one character that had something to hide, which made it hard to figure out who harmed the two girls in the story. I really enjoyed this book (no matter how disturbing it may be) and I have become a huge fan of Gillian Flynns writing and I look forward to getting her book Dark Places. I would recommend this book of course to other fans of Gillian Flynn who haven’t read this book, as well as those who love thrilling suspenseful and dark and twisted books!

I absolutely love Gillian Flynn and her style of writing. I find that once I start one of her books I can’t put them down. I love that she creates characters that are so addictive that even when you may be disgusted or horrified by them, you always want to do what they’ll do next. I’m so excited to see the Gone Girl Movie next month!
