My Review:

I love how this series has gotten better and better with each book. At the end of the previous book, you think things will end up working out for Emma and then you get punched in the gut. The author really makes you feel for Emma and hat she has to go through. Emma was previously struggling with have to decide between the two she was bonded with but then having to struggle with making a deal with Lucifer in order to protect everyone she loves. She really felt like her world was crashing down all over again.
This book really showed how much Emma’s character has development since the events from the first book. You can really see how strong willed she is based on the decisions she must make. Gilded Wings was by far my favorite because you get a chance to see how much Emma must rely on herself to save those around her and stop at nothing to protect them.
There were definitely a lot of surprises in the book that left me speechless. And yes, I will even admit that I was really mad at the author for writing for said things to happen.
All in all, this was an exciting and emotional book to read and highly recommend this to those that have read the previous books in the Hidden Wings series.
Sadly, there is only one more book in the series, Wings of Vengeance that I will be reading next, so stay tuned!!
