I continue to enjoy Cameo Renea’s writing because you get lost in the story and this book doesn’t not disappoint.
I definitely enjoyed the new characters, especially Ethon. He’s that annoying, sarcastic guy that knows he’s hot and will get on any guys nerves and girls if they’re trying hard not to like them (like Emma). I know you’re supposed to root for Kade, but nope, I’m all for Ethon. Adding Ethon into the mix definitely added some drama for Emma that I’m sure she didn’t need added to her plate. I also liked the added mix of bringing in Emma’s friends from home, Jeremy and Lia. It gave Emma some semblance of normalcy amongst all the chaos surrounding her life. And of course, if you’ve read the other two books in the series, you will continue to appreciate Dominics humor.
The story had a nice pace to it where you don’t realize the book takes place in such a short amount of time. Cameo spends the perfect amount of time in writing the events that take place throughout this book. Compared to Broken Wings, I felt like the plot in Tethered Wings was more developed and had more elements to the story. I was very surprised by the ending of the book. I won’t say good or bad, just that it was enough to make me want to read the next book, Gilded Wings, right away.
